Who We Are

VIM (Visualization and Image Data Management) is an interdisciplinary academic meeting series of multiple institutions, research labs, university hospitals, and open source partners, working together on visualization and image data management topics for biomedical imaging and analysis. Our mission is to provide a platform for research and educational exchange and to join efforts in developing and standardizing data formats, platforms and interfaces for analyzing and communicating biomedical imaging data.

We address topics ranging from classical rendering and visualization of large imaging and spatially referenced feature data to data management topics concerning multiplexed image formats, standards, and platforms hosting.

Monthly Meeting

We organize one-hour monthly online meetings with scientific presentations and lively intertwined discussions from one of the joining labs. The presentations concern one of our core topics.
